Item Description
The wind/solar hybrid controller is specially designed for high-end small-scale wind/solar hybrid system. It can simultaneously control wind turbine and solar panel to charge battery safely and efficiently.
With easy operation, visual LCD display and perfect protection functions, the apparatus has high charge efficiency, low no-load loss. The system operation shall be safe, stable and reliable.
Key Features
This controller can be used to charge lithium, lithium iron phosphate or lead acid batteries.
The wind charging circuit of this controller features advanced MPPT boost charging technology to extract the maximum possible power from the wind turbine in low wind speeds.
The solar charging circuit of this controller uses MOS tube PWM technology, which minimizes the power consumption of the controller and makes the system more stable.
Dual power supply function – controller can be powered with battery / solar power supply.
Large LCD display dynamically displays all the operating data and working condition, working modes and parameter configuration can be conveniently switched.
DC output with 3 output modes.
The inner circuit board is sprayed with conformal coating to prevent dust, moisture and static electricity.

Reversed charging Protection of solar
Such as at night, the voltage of the battery may be higher than solar panel. The controller protect the battery from charging the solar panel.
Reverse polarity Protection of battery
When the battery polarity is reversed, the controller does not work and there is no display. The fuse protects the internal circuit. If the battery does not work properly after it is connected correctly, just need to replace the fuse .
Battery open circuit Protection
After long-term use, the battery may be Open-Circuit or poor connect. The controller can protect itself from damage .Check the connection regularly

When it’s strong wind or over voltage, the controller will automatically start braking function to protect the wind generator and battery. The controller will automatically cuts off the circuit when the output is over voltage.

About MPPT Start Voltage:
12V battery System, the wind generator votlage needs to arrive 8V
24V battery System, the wind generator voltage needs to arrive 16V
48v battery System, the wind generator voltage needs to arrive 32V
If you use 24v system, your solar panel voltage is not more than 55V. If your system is 48V, please make sure is less 95V, if too high solar panel voltage, controller’s MOS tue will be damaged.
